Sean’s BCG and DPT (5-in-1) Vaccinations
We took our baby Sean to his Pediatrician today. He was scheduled to have his BCG vaccination today. When we arrived at the hospital, the doctor suggested that we also vaccinated Sean with DPT, the 5 in 1 vaccination. Did a little Googling tonight and found out that DPT can be give for babies in their 2nd, 3rd and 4rth month, and since Sean is in his 2nd month, so I guess that was ok.
The DPT is a 5-in-1 vaccination. I now know that because the Pediatrician kept on saying “it’s a 5-in-1 vaccination”. Anyway, DPT is use against Diphtheria, Tetanus, Pertussis, Polio and Hib as an all in one injection.

On a side note, today is Sean’s 2nd month… 26th of the month.. which is also coincidentally, my mom and dad’s 33rd wedding anniversary! Called them up (after removing the nail on my bro’s car) and greeted them a happy one!
