Mississippi Tornado

Tornado hit Mississippi on Saturday. Tornado damage was found along the entire path of the supercell thunderstorm, which was 97 miles. The maximum width of the tornado damage was found to be 1.75 miles. The preliminary rating is an EF4 with maximum winds estimated at 170 mph. ten people were killed and nearly three dozen people were injured in the destructive tornado path. Hundreds of home were damaged by the tornado.

On Sunday, rescue workers spread out to find anyone who might have been trapped, while survivors returned to demolished homes to salvage what they could.
