Milk For Breast Feeding and Pregnant Expecting Moms

My wife and I usually do the grocery after pay day (who doesn’t, right?) We always make sure that this is one of those family activity, meaning my (almost) 2 year old son is always with us.

While we were looking for some crackers and biscuits for my son to gobble, I asked my wife what milk supplement does her OB/GYN is recommending. She said none yet.

I was surprised, being in her 4th month and all, I thought she should be taking all the necessary vitamins and nutrients a pregnant woman needs.

So, when we passed by the pregnant women section of the grocery, I told her to take Gerber for Moms. I was thinking, that would be fine even without her doctor’s recommendation. Anyway, just to be sure, we’ll ask her the next time we visit the doctor.

These kinds of milk for expecting mom are rich Iron, Folate and Iodine with Calcium. Important stuff for the pregnant.

Anyway, when we go and see her OB, I’m sure going to bring this to her attention.
