Matt Can Count 1 through 20!
Holy cow! I just found out that my Matthew can easily count 1 through 20! I have known that he’s ‘studying’ it and learning the numbers with the help of Sesame Street’s “The Great Numbers Game” and I even suspected that he’s getting better at it (only having trouble with 11 and 12 – the ellipticals).
But now, while we were surfing the internet looking for colors and studying colors at the same time (since Matthew knows colors), I stumble upon a picture with colored numbers, numbered 1 through 20!
I pointed the numbers 0 through 10… I was so surprised when he continued counting 11, 12 then 13 and so forth!
This educational DVD stuff really do help! Geezh! I also teach Matt stuff like that (counting, letters, numbers etc..) but this is amazing! And also, those early morning where Matthew wakes us up reciting/reading the numbers from the big wall calendar beside the bed, have paid off too!
Only 2 years and 1 month old, in my opinion… Matthew is a genius! Gifted!
