Cure for Fever and Common Cold

Sorry, this aint the super cure for the common cold.. My youngest child was sick couple of days back with a fever, runny nose and cold… Now he’s all better (except for the cold part) and anyway, the cure for common cold?? Well, I just wanted to have a fancy blog post title.

Anyway, we went to our family doctor june 22 to have Sean check out. His Pediatrician prescribed him a couple of cold meds and some antibiotic. Those are the things I wanted to share here… In case other daddies out there are searching about information about these drugs:

Amoxicillin - Amoxicillin (INN), formerly amoxycillin (BAN), is a moderate-spectrum, bacteriolytic, β-lactam antibiotic used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible microorganisms. It is usually the drug of choice within the class because it is better absorbed, following oral administration, than other β-lactam antibiotics.

Amoxicillin is to be taken every 6 hours apparently. 7am – 1pm – 7am. That’s the instruction.

Nasatapp Syrup – to be taken also every 6 hours for 5 days.. Nasatapp Syrup is the one for the cold, I think. I ain’t no doing any advertisements here.

For cough – Zobrixol
